Exchanges or Returns
Return Approval
All returns must be approved in writing by Murphy Door. Approval is granted at Murphy Door's sole discretion and must include agreed-upon terms and conditions.
Return Requirements
Approved returns must follow these guidelines:
Product must be repackaged exactly as originally received, including proper preparation for palletized shipment
Customers must schedule and be available for pickup with the proper third-party carrier
Customers are responsible for all shipping and packaging costs.
Return Inspection
Once the returned product is received, it will be inspected by our team. Any damage, missing components, or improper packaging will affect the final refund amount.
Restocking and Refunds Processing
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are encouraged to fully insure return shipments, as any damage or loss during transit will be deducted from the refund amount. Once inspection is completed, an adjusted refund will be issued based on the product's condition and any applicable deductions.
Insufficient Refunds
If the refund amount does not cover all applicable fees, the remaining balance will be invoiced and due upon receipt.

MURPHY DOOR OFFERS ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON PURCHASES.
Not even on damaged products. We reserve the right to replace parts or the product.
Visible Damage at Delivery
If the packaging is visibly damaged to the point that product damage is apparent, you must refuse the delivery. Clearly notate "Damaged" on the BOL and return the products with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Refusing damaged items ensures that a proper freight claim can be filed, and replacement products can be shipped to you.
If you refuse delivery of products that are in good condition (i.e., undamaged and not defective), you will be responsible for all shipping charges to and from Murphy Door, and a restocking fee equal to 50% of the returned portion of your order will apply.
Concealed Damage and Missing Items
You are required to open and inspect your shipment within 24 hours of delivery. This includes checking for any concealed damage, manufacturing defects, or missing components.
To submit a damage claim, you must email Murphy Door with photos and a detailed description of the issue within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted outside of this window will not be accepted.
Important Reminders
Always note any visible damage on the BOL, even if you choose to accept the delivery
No claim can be filed if visible damage is not documented on the BOL and reported to Murphy Door within 24 hours of delivery
If products are refused due to damage and after the carrier has inspected the shipment, Murphy Door will ship replacement products of the same size and specifications
Claims must be reported prior to assembly or installation. Any claims made after the product has been installed will be denied.
