Description

Our material samples are crafted from the same materials used in every Murphy Door® hidden door, giving you a true representation of the surfaces and finishes available for your project. Each sample is handmade in the USA by our skilled craftspeople.
Every Murphy Door® hidden door is built around Vaultwood Core™, a published material standard for premium MDF designed for dimensional stability and long-term consistency. From there, choose your face surface: Real Wood Veneer in Walnut, White Oak, Maple, Knotty Alder, or Red Oak, or Paint Grade for a smooth, paintable finish.
Each 4" x 5" sample is finished in your selected paint or stain color so you can compare materials and finishes in your own space before ordering.
Shipping is $10 for every four samples and $2.50 for each additional sample. The cost of shipping will be applied toward your Murphy Door purchase.

At Murphy Door®, we use advanced finishing systems and a spray-and-wipe process to promote consistency. However, due to the natural variation in wood grain and porosity, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

By ordering, customers acknowledge and accept these natural variations as part of real wood.
