Flush-mount installs are more architecturally convincing but require more precise rough opening preparation. Surface-mount is faster to install and works with most wall types.
Is it hard to install a hidden bookcase door?
Installation difficulty depends on your configuration. Murphy Door® panel kits are designed for experienced DIYers with basic carpentry skills and can typically be completed in one to two days. Fully assembled units include White Glove Delivery, meaning Murphy Door's professionals handle the complete installation.
