1. Orders, Cancellations, and Change Orders

Key terms: orders cancelled before production begins receive a full refund; cancellations after production begins are subject to a 25% restocking fee; custom and rush orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun; change orders after production begins may be subject to a 20% change order fee.
2. Returns and Refunds

Key terms: unopened doors may be returned within 14 days of delivery; opened but uninstalled doors may be returned within 14 days subject to a 20% restocking fee; installed or modified doors cannot be returned; custom products cannot be returned unless they arrive with a manufacturing defect.

Key terms: all assembled doors ship via freight carrier with curbside liftgate delivery; shipping damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery; Murphy Door covers shipping damage even if delivery was signed for without noting damage on the Bill of Lading.
4. Warranty
Murphy Door's Limited Lifetime Warranty is published at murphydoor.com/pages/warranty-policy and is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. In the event of any conflict between the warranty document and these Terms and Conditions, the warranty document shall govern with respect to warranty coverage, claim procedures, and exclusions.
Key tiers: lifetime coverage on hardware, structural components, and workmanship; five-year coverage on mechanical locks and factory-applied finishes; one-year coverage on electronic systems and customer-requested plywood substrates.
5. Product Information and Specifications
All product dimensions, specifications, and configuration options are published on our website and available upon request. It is your responsibility to verify that the product will fit your intended installation location. If you need help determining fit, contact our sales team before ordering.
Murphy Door products use MDF or plywood core construction with solid hardwood face frames. Storage requirements, finishing deadlines, and all other conditions that affect warranty coverage are specified in the Warranty Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
Murphy Door's total liability under these Terms and Conditions and the associated warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Murphy Door is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, property damage beyond the product itself, or personal injury resulting from improper installation or use.
Murphy Door is not responsible for design, construction, or installation decisions made by the customer or the customer's contractor. Installation must follow Murphy Door's published instructions.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about your order, your product, or your experience with Murphy Door, we want to hear about it and resolve it. Contact help@murphydoor.com or call 888-458-5911. Our team is empowered to solve problems and we would rather fix an issue directly than let it become a dispute.
In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in the State of Utah under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. This provision does not limit your rights under applicable state consumer protection laws.
Chargebacks and credit card disputes filed without first contacting Murphy Door to resolve the issue may result in Murphy Door pursuing collection of the amount owed. Murphy Door reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.
8. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Warranty Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Cancellation and Change Order Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Murphy Door Inc. Murphy Door reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Murphy Door reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Prices are subject to change without notice. We will honor the price quoted at the time your order was placed.
