Choose your face surface on this product: Real Wood Veneer (Walnut, White Oak, Maple, Knotty Alder, Red Oak), Paint Grade (smooth, paintable MDF). All built on solid hardwood face frames over an engineered MDF core for dimensional stability.

Jamb Depth:
Our doors are built to install in standard interior door openings. Standard jamb depths are:
4-9/16" for a 2x4 wall with drywall
6-9/16" for a 2x6 wall with drywall
Custom jamb depths are available on out-swings only.
The threshold will be 7" deep regardless of door depth or jamb depth unless you enter a custom jamb depth deeper than 7" then we will make the threshold match the depth of your jamb.
Shelf Depth:
8-1/4" door depth will have a 6-1/2" shelf depth
12" door depth will have a 10-1/4" shelf depth
Average Door Weight:
Average door weight is 150 to 200 lbs depending on width, height, options, and locking system. Due to door weight we do not recommend Gun Cabinet Doors over 40" wide. Door will hold up to 300 lbs but we cannot guarantee rated weight for doors over 36" wide.

Height: 7-1/2"
Width: Entablature width varies depending on door width. Top is 12" wider than door, bottom is 6" wider than door.
Pass Through Space
All of our flush mount hidden doors will lose pass through space and protrude into the room behind.
IN-SWING DOORS
In-swing doors lose less pass through space, but require wall clearance to fully open.

What is a hidden gun cabinet?
A hidden gun cabinet is a gun cabinet that also functions as a hidden door. On the surface, it looks like a typical gun cabinet with room for firearms and ammunition. However, it swings open on discreet hinges to reveal a new room or storage space.
Hidden gun cabinets are not gun safes, however. The glass on the cabinet doors is standard tempered, so it still risks being broken. If you’re looking for an even more secret and secure place to store your firearms, we recommend using a Murphy door to hide a gun room or purchasing a gun safe.
Are hidden gun cabinets secure?
Yes. Hidden gun cabinets feature all the typical safety precautions you would get from an average gun cabinet, including mechanical or electronic locks. The doors also secure whatever is on the other side by including discreet unlocking mechanisms. However, the tempered glass on the cabinet doors is still prone to breakage if it experiences enough impact.
Can hidden gun cabinets be customized?
