Murphy Door acquires Rigby manufacturing facility for $3.25 million as it opens third location nationwide

Murphy Door closed on a $3.25 million manufacturing facility in Rigby, bringing its operational footprint to three locations across the country. The Ogden-based company said the move reflects growing demand for its hidden doors and murphy beds, which have become fixtures in high-end residential renovations and space-conscious homes nationwide. The new plant will boost production capacity at a time when customers are ordering more custom installations than the company's existing facilities can handle.

Before You Install: Finish Those Walls First
Surface Mount sits over a fully finished opening: drywall,
paint, and trim done, just like an existing doorway. If
you’re still mid-construction, finish those edges out
first, or the raw sheetrock and framing around the door will
stay visible once it’s mounted.
