The Murphy Door® Simple Murphy Bed is a wall bed, a hideaway bed, a fold-down bed, and a hidden bed built the way furniture used to be built: solid hardwood face frames over our proprietary Vaultwood Core™, assembled by skilled craftsmen in our Utah and Kentucky shops, and lifted by a patented gas-piston mechanism machined in-house by Murphy Door Machining (MD Machine). A perfected blend of solid hardwood and Vaultwood Core™ giving you a lifetime of flawless use. Choose your face surface: Real Wood Veneer (Walnut, White Oak, Maple, Knotty Alder, Red Oak) or Paint Grade over a smooth, paintable Vaultwood Core™ face.
