On September 16, Murphy Door® shared a handful of video posts exploring creative applications for hidden doors, from practical laundry room storage to personality-driven customization and a gaming-inspired armory reveal.
Laundry Room Ideas
The team kicked off the day with a laundry room hidden door concept, offering three suggestions for making the space work harder: a functional door with storage, mirrors on the back, and storage on the front.
A Door for Every Personality
The afternoon brought a more playful angle. Rather than choosing a single look, the hidden door for all personalities reel made the case that a hidden door can flex to reflect more than one style.
A Hidden Armory
The day closed with a nod to gaming culture: a Master Chief-inspired hidden armory, showing how the hidden door concept translates into a dedicated, concealed gear space.

Before You Install: Finish Those Walls First
Surface Mount sits over a fully finished opening: drywall,
paint, and trim done, just like an existing doorway. If
you’re still mid-construction, finish those edges out
first, or the raw sheetrock and framing around the door will
stay visible once it’s mounted.
